Natalia Bishop

Head Documenter of Mischief  & Joy

Well Hello there!! I’m Natalia, owner and photographer of ChocolateBox Photography.  I’m originally from Colombia but in the last 13 years I have fallen deeply in love with Louisville.  My background is in business management and marketing but my passion is for people and exploring love and family.  My goal as a photographer is to tell your story exactly as it happens and for your photographs to transport you to a moment in time when life stood still, a constant reminder of the immeasurable joy of holding baby in your arms for the first time, or the way her little smile can make all your troubles melt away.  Or studio specializes in documentary family photography from maternity to baby’s first years, to portraits for modern families looking to document their stories through art.

As a mom I want to be able to show my children that happiness lives within each of us and it is available at all times if you are mindful, kind and generous with yourself and others.  As a business owner my goal is to give back to the community in as many ways as possible, we partner with several local charities (including The Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies, Mama2Mama, Kosair’s) throughout the year to volunteer our time as well as hosting events that benefit them directly and donate up to 5% of our yearly revenue.

Carrie joined the ChocolateBox team as our Studio Manager last year and we couldn’t have asked for a better fit! She has truly been a godsend during the busy season and I am so excited to have her on board.  Carrie is a Louisville native, an avid runner with awesome curly hair, amazing style and in her own words “the worst hippie ever”.  She lives in Audubon with her husband, 5 year old son Owen, sweet baby Julian and Penny the pup!   Carrie handles all of our client communication, scheduling and orders so if you have any questions feel free to contact her directly
